Privacy Policy
Effective 19 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit digitalhubris.io, why it is collected, and what we do with it. This site is operated by Tio LLC ("we", "us", "our").
1. Who is responsible for your information
The data controller for this website is Tio LLC, which operates Digital Hubris and the site at digitalhubris.io. Questions about this policy, or any request relating to your information, can be sent to hello@robotsshop.io.
2. What we collect
This is a static website. There is no account system, no newsletter, no comment form and no signup of any kind, so we do not ask you for personal details and we do not store any.
| Category | What it is | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Server logs | Standard request data recorded by our web server when a page is served: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and browser/device type. | To serve the site, keep it available, and detect abuse or attempted attacks at the infrastructure level. |
| Analytics | We use no analytics service, no tracking pixels and no advertising tags on this site. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell traffic data. | Not applicable — nothing is collected for this purpose. |
| Cookies we set | None. We do not set our own cookies. Cookies that may be set by third parties are described in section 5. | Not applicable. |
Because we run no analytics and set no cookies of our own, we do not knowingly collect any information from a visitor beyond routine server logs.
3. Pinterest API use
Digital Hubris publishes original pins to our own Pinterest Business account, @digitalhubris, using the Pinterest API v5. Our use of that API is strictly limited:
- We access only our own Pinterest account — the account we control and are authorised to publish from.
- We do not access, request, read, store or process data belonging to any other Pinterest user, board, or account.
- We use the API to create pins and read back the resulting pin identifiers and our own account's performance for our own publishing workflow.
- We do not use the Pinterest API to build advertising audiences, to contact users, or to profile anyone.
- Pinterest's own handling of data is governed by Pinterest's Privacy Policy and its Developer and API Terms. Data transmitted to Pinterest through the API is subject to those terms.
4. How we use what we hold
- To deliver the website to your browser and keep it working.
- To protect the site against abuse, scraping and attack.
- To understand, in aggregate and without profiling individuals, which projects are useful — this is done by reading our own Pinterest account's statistics, not by tracking visitors here.
We do not sell, rent or trade any information. We do not use visitor information to train models, and we do not share it for advertising.
5. Affiliate links and third-party cookies
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy, the merchant or its affiliate network may set a cookie in your browser so the purchase can be attributed to us. These cookies are set by those third parties, not by us, and we do not control them.
| Programme | Role |
|---|---|
| Amazon Associates | Affiliate programme for Amazon product links. Amazon sets its own cookies and processes the purchase. |
| Impact | Affiliate network used to link to merchants including Etsy sellers. Impact and the merchant handle attribution and the transaction. |
Clicking an affiliate link takes you to a site we do not operate. Once you leave digitalhubris.io, that site's privacy policy applies, including for anything you buy there. We never see your payment details, your address or your order contents — we may only receive an aggregated report showing that a commission was earned.
Disclosure: Some links may be affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products that fit the project.
6. Third parties we rely on
- Our hosting provider — serves the site and keeps server logs on our behalf.
- Pinterest — receives the content we publish to our own account.
- Amazon Associates and Impact — affiliate tracking for outbound product links, as described above.
We share information with these providers only as far as each one is needed to perform its function. We do not authorise any of them to use information for their own marketing on our behalf.
7. Retention
- Server logs: retained briefly for security and troubleshooting, then rotated and deleted automatically. Logs are not kept indefinitely and are not used to identify individuals.
- Published content: pins and pages we publish remain in place for as long as the project is maintained. They contain no personal data about visitors.
- Affiliate records: held by the affiliate networks under their own retention policies, not by us.
8. Your rights and choices
Because we hold no visitor accounts and no visitor profiles, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete. If you believe we hold information about you — for example, a server log entry — you may write to hello@robotsshop.io and we will look into it and respond. Depending on where you live, you may have statutory rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your information, and to object to processing; we will honour those requests as far as the law requires.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent an affiliate network from attributing a purchase — it does not affect your ability to use this site.
9. Not directed at children
This site is intended for a general adult audience interested in home, DIY and craft projects. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Security and international transfers
The site is served over HTTPS. Our hosting and service providers may process data in countries other than your own; where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place for such transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top.
